1
A Maskiyl of Daviyd, when he was in the cave. A prayer.
2
With my voice to Yahuah I cry; with my voice to Yahuah I seek favor.
3
I pour my complaint before His face; I declare my distress before His face.
4
When my ruach grows faint within me, You know my path. In the way I walk they hid a snare for me.
5
Look to the right and see: there is none recognizing me. Refuge has perished from me; none seeks my being.
6
I cried to You, Yahuah; I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
7
Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low. Rescue me from those pursuing me, for they are stronger than I.
8
Bring my being from prison to thank Your Name. The righteous encircle me, for You deal richly with me.
