1
An utterance of Daviyd when he went out after the lion and the wolf which took a lamb from the flock. My El, my El, come to my strength! Help me and save me; rescue my being from killers.
2
Shall I descend to Sheol by the mouth of a lion, or shall the wolf swallow me?
3
Is it a small thing that they ambush the sheep of my father and tear a lamb from his flock, that they also seek my being, to cut it off?
4
Spare, Yahuah, Your chosen one; rescue Your faithful one from the pit, so he remains in Your praises at every time and honors the Name of Your greatness.
5
For You save him from the hand of lion and tearing wolf; You rescue my captivity from the mouth of living beasts.
6
Hurry, my Adonai; send a rescuer from before Your face. Draw me from the gaping deep that desires to shut me within its depths.
