1
The word that Yeshayahu son of Amotz saw concerning Yehudah and Yerushalayim.
2
And it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the House of Yahuah shall be established at the head of the mountains, and shall be lifted above the hills, and all the nations shall flow to it.
3
And many peoples shall go and say: “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahuah, to the House of the Elohim of Yaaqov. And He will teach us from His ways, and we will walk in His paths.” For from Tziyon shall go out Torah, and the Word of Yahuah from Yerushalayim.
4
And He shall judge between the nations, and shall correct many peoples. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift sword against nation, and they shall no longer learn war.
5
House of Yaaqov, come, and let us walk in the light of Yahuah.
6
For You have abandoned Your people, the House of Yaaqov, because they are filled from the east, and practice divination like the Pelishtim, and strike hands with the sons of foreigners.
7
And their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures. And their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.
8
And their land is filled with idols. They bow themselves to the work of their own hands, to that which their fingers have made.
9
And Adam bows down, and ish is brought low. And do not lift them up.
10
Enter into the rock, and hide yourself in the dust, from before the dread of Yahuah and from the splendor of His majesty.
11
The lofty eyes of Adam shall be brought low, and the height of ish shall bow down. And Yahuah alone shall be exalted in that day.
12
For there is a day belonging to Yahuah of Hosts against everyone proud and exalted, and against everyone lifted up, and he shall be brought low;
13
and against all the cedars of Levanon, high and lifted up, and against all the oaks of Bashan;
14
and against all the high mountains, and against all the hills that are lifted up;
15
and against every high tower, and against every fortified wall;
16
and against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all desirable vessels.
17
And the pride of Adam shall be bowed down, and the height of ish shall be brought low. And Yahuah alone shall be exalted in that day.
18
And the idols shall completely pass away.
19
And they shall enter into caves of the rocks and into holes of the ground, from before the dread of Yahuah and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to terrify the earth.
20
In that day Adam shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which they made for him to bow down to, to the moles and to the bats,
21
to enter into clefts of the rocks and into cracks of the cliffs, from before the dread of Yahuah and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to terrify the earth.
22
Cease from Adam, whose breath is in his nostrils, for in what is he to be accounted?
