1
Yahuah, You are my Elohim. I will exalt You. I will give thanks to Your Name, for You have done wonders— counsels from ancient days, faithfulness and truth.
2
For You have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into ruins. A palace of foreigners is no longer a city; it shall never be rebuilt.
3
Therefore a strong people shall honor You. A city of ruthless nations shall fear You.
4
For You have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall.
5
Like heat in a dry place, You subdue the noise of foreigners. Like heat beneath the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is brought low.
6
And Yahuah of Hosts shall make for all the peoples, upon this mountain, a feast of rich things, a feast of aged wines, of rich things full of marrow, of aged wines well refined.
7
And He shall swallow up upon this mountain the face of the covering that covers all the peoples, and the veil that is woven over all the nations.
8
He shall swallow up death forever. And Adonai Yahuah shall wipe away tears from upon every face, and the reproach of His people He shall remove from upon all the earth, for Yahuah has spoken.
9
And it shall be said in that day: “See, this is our Elohim. We waited for Him, and He saved us. This is Yahuah. We waited for Him. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10
For the hand of Yahuah shall rest upon this mountain. And Moav shall be trampled beneath Him as straw is trampled in the waters of a dung pit.
11
And he shall spread out his hands in its midst as the swimmer spreads out his hands to swim. And He shall bring down his pride together with the skill of his hands.
12
And the fortress of the high walls of your defenses He shall cast down, bring low, and cause to reach the earth, to the dust.
