Draw near, nations, to hear; and peoples, listen. Let the earth and its fullness hear, the world and all that comes from it.

For the fury of Yahuah is against all the nations, and His wrath against all their host. He has devoted them to destruction; He has given them to slaughter.
3
Their slain shall be cast out, and the stench of their corpses shall rise. The mountains shall melt with their blood.
4
All the host of the heavens shall decay. The heavens shall be rolled like a scroll, and all their host shall fall as a leaf falls from the vine and as a withered fig from the fig tree.

“For My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens. See, it descends upon Edom, upon the people I have devoted to Judgment.

The sword of Yahuah is filled with blood. It is made fat with fatness— with the blood of lambs and male goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For Yahuah has a sacrifice in Botzrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

Wild oxen shall descend with them, and young bulls with mighty bulls. Their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.”

For it is the day of the vengeance of Yahuah, the year of repayments for the cause of Tziyon.

Its streams shall be turned into pitch, its dust into sulfur, and its land shall become burning pitch.
10
Night and day it shall not be quenched. Its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; forever and ever none shall pass through it.
11
Pelican and porcupine shall possess it; owl and raven shall dwell in it. He shall stretch over it the measuring line of emptiness and the stones of void.

Its nobles—there are none there to call a kingdom; and all its rulers shall be nothing.
13
Thorns shall rise in its palaces, nettles and thistles in its fortresses. It shall be a habitation of sea-monsters, a courtyard for daughters of the ostrich.
14
Desert creatures shall meet howling creatures, and a goat-demon shall call to its companion. There Lilit shall rest and find for herself a resting-place.
15
There the arrow-snake shall make her nest and lay eggs; she shall hatch and gather them beneath her shadow. There also the vultures shall gather, each with her companion.
16
Seek from the Sefer of Yahuah and read: not one of these shall be missing; none shall lack her companion. For My Mouth has commanded, and His ruach has gathered them.
17
He has cast the lot for them, and His hand has divided it to them by measuring line. They shall possess it forever; from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.
