1
Now Kepha and Yochanan were going up together into the House at the hour of prayer— the ninth hour.
2
And a certain ish, lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried, whom they placed day by day at the gate of the House called Beautiful, to ask for alms from those entering the House.
3
Seeing Kepha and Yochanan about to enter the House, he asked to receive an offering.
4
And Kepha, fixing his eyes upon him with Yochanan, said: “Look at us.”
5
And he gave attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6
But Kepha said: “Silver and gold I do not have. But what I do have, this I give to you: in the Name of Yahushua the Natzri, rise and walk.”
7
And taking him by the right hand, he raised him up. And immediately his feet and ankles were strengthened.
8
And leaping up, he stood and walked, and entered with them into the House, walking, and leaping, and praising Elohim.
9
And all the people saw him walking and praising Elohim.
10
And they recognized him— that this was the one who sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the House. And they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what had happened to him.
11
And while he held to Kepha and Yochanan, all the people ran together toward them at the covered walkway called Shəlomah’s, greatly amazed.
12
And when Kepha saw this, he answered the people: “Ishim of Yisra’el, why do you marvel at this? Or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or reverence we made him walk?
13
The Elohim of Avraham, and Yitzchaq, and Yaaqov— the Elohim of our fathers— glorified His servant Yahushua, whom you handed over and denied before the face of Pilatus, when he had judged to release him.
14
But you denied the Set-Apart and Righteous One and asked for an ish who was a murderer to be granted to you.
15
And you killed the leader of life, whom Elohim raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
16
And by trust in his Name, his Name strengthened this one whom you see and know. And the trust which is through him gave him this complete restoration before all of you.
17
And now, brothers, I know that through ignorance you acted, just as also your rulers.
18
But Elohim fulfilled in this way what He announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets: that His Anointed would suffer.
19
Repent, therefore, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
20
so that times of refreshing may come from the face of Yahuah, and that He may send the Anointed appointed for you— Yahushua—
21
whom the heavens must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which Elohim spoke through the mouth of His set-apart prophets from the age.
22
Mosheh indeed said: ‘Yahuah your Elohim shall raise up for you a prophet from among your brothers like me. You shall hear him in everything whatever he speaks to you.
23
And it shall be that every being who does not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people.’
24
And indeed, all the prophets from Shemu’el and those who followed after, as many as spoke, also announced these days.
25
You are the children of the prophets and of the Covenant which Elohim established with your fathers, saying to Avraham: ‘And in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
26
To you first, Elohim, having raised up His servant, sent him to bless you by turning each one of you away from your wickedness.”
