117
Yahuah sent Gad to Daviyd with a warning against boasting in strength.
118
The mighty ish was not to glory in might but in the help that comes from Yahuah.
119
Gad brought the Word to Daviyd and told him not to fear because Yahuah was with him.
120
Daviyd answered that he had known the help of Yahuah from his youth.
121
He asked who had struck the lion and the bear, who had brought down the Pelishti, and who had defeated his enemies if not the help of Elohim.
122
The answer pleased Yahuah.
123
Because Daviyd recognized the true source of his strength, Yahuah declared that divine help would remain with the House of Daviyd.
124
Gad carried the declaration to Daviyd.
125
Daviyd bowed before Yahuah and blessed Him for the favor shown to his house.
