191
Chiyram king of Tzor sent messengers to Daviyd.
192
He confessed that Yahuah, Elohim of Yisra'el, is Elohim and asked Daviyd to teach him the way he should walk.
193
The messengers brought gifts for Yahuah and for Daviyd.
194
Daviyd answered Chiyram as a brother among kings.
195
He commanded him to fear Yahuah, Creator of heaven, fire, sea, earth, wet and dry, heat and cold.
196
The list extends through mineral, vegetation, living creatures, speaking beings, the heavenly spheres, Kimah and Kesil, sun, moon, body, ruach, wandering stars, senses, and the whole ordered creation.
197
All these are declared the works of El Shaddai, whose Name is Yahuah.
198
Daviyd tells Chiyram to observe the commandments appointed to the sons of Noach his father.
199
If he does so, good will follow him through his days.
200
Daviyd distinguishes Yisra'el by the Covenant of Torah, describing them as sealed by Shaddai and called children of the Elohim of truth.
201
Because Torah is addressed particularly to Benei Yisra'el, the whole covenantal burden given through Mosheh rests upon them.
202
The distinction is explained not as superiority of flesh but as the consequence of Yahuah's love and choosing.
203
The messengers returned to Chiyram and delivered Daviyd's words.
204
Chiyram rejoiced and gathered the princes and servants of Tzor and Tzidon.
205
He told them to fear El Shaddai, Elohim of Yisra'el, who creates by speech and breath and is One.
206
Chiyram blessed Yahuah, blessed Daviyd His servant, and blessed Yisra'el whom Yahuah chose for inheritance.
207
His officers answered Amen.
208
Chiyram then spoke a prophetic saying: a son would step from Daviyd and a moon would rise from the House of Yehudah.
209
The coming ruler would strike powers identified with the descendants of Cham and break the strength associated with Yafet, extending dominion through the kingdoms of the earth.
210
Chiyram asks who is like Yahuah among the mighty and who is like Yisra'el among the nations.
211
He wishes that his own end might be joined to theirs.
212
Yahuah hears Chiyram's words and is pleased.
213
The Word comes to Gad, commanding him to speak to Daviyd.
214
Gad tells Daviyd that Yahuah heard the words of Chiyram, his princes, and his servants.
215
Because their words were pleasing, Yahuah would give Chiyram and his people a heart of wisdom and understanding.
216
They would prepare the House in which Yahuah would place His Name, and blessing would touch their land.
217
Daviyd responds that Yahuah gives good reward among His creatures and does not cast away the one who comes near.
218
He blesses the One who dwells on high yet looks upon what is low.
219
Daviyd declares that the mercy of Yahuah rises over those who fear Him as the heavens rise over the earth.
220
He closes by calling all the works of Yahuah throughout His dominion to bless Him.
