Glory And the Nevi'im have prophesied concerning His glorious entry into Yerushalayim, and Yeshayahu the Navi said, “ Shine you, shine you, Yerushalayim, your light has come and the glory of Elohim has risen upon you.” Thus the Navi Zekharyahu prophesied and said, “ Rejoice, rejoice, daughter of Tsiyon, and let Yerushalayim shout for joy.” Thus Daviyd prophesied and said, “ Out of the mouth of children and babes you hast prepared praise because of the enemy, so that you mightest overthrow the enemy and the avenger.” Thus Shəlomah prophesied and said, “ The children are taught by Elohim, and the peoples rejoice within you.” Thus Daviyd his father prophesied and said, “ Blow you the horn in Tsiyon, on the day of the new moon, on the appointed day of our festival, for it is an ordinance for Yisra'el.” Thus Ezra the Scribe prophesied and said, “ Get you out, make you a festival in gladness, and say to the daughter of Tsiyon, Rejoice you, behold your King has come.” Thus Yeshayahu the Navi prophesied and said, “ Rejoice you, Yerushalayim, rejoice you. Behold, your King has come riding upon an ass. His reward is with Him, and His work is before His face.” Thus Daviyd the Navi prophesied and said, “ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Yahuah.” Thus Ya'aqov the son of Yitsḥaq prophesied and said, “ Yehudah, your brethren have praised you. your hand is upon the back of your enemy, and the children of your mother shall worship you. And the dominion shall not diminish from Yehudah, and the government shall not depart from his kin, until he shall find Him Who has been waited for, and Who is the Hope of the nations.” And he also prophesied and said, “ His teeth are white as with snow, and His eyes are glad as with wine, and He shall wash His apparel in wine and His tunic in the blood of clusters of grapes.” And again he prophesied, saying, “ Yehudah is a lion’s whelp; you hast lain down, and you hast slept; no one shall wake him up except him that hunteth until he findeth him; rise up from your strong place.” And again Ya'aqov blessed his son Yehudah, and said to him, “ There is a King who shall go forth from you and shall wash His apparel in wine, and glorious is the place of rest of the Beloved”; now, by “ Beloved ” Mashiach is meant, and by “Messiah” Mashiach is meant, and Yahushua meaneth “Deliverer of the people.” Now the Nevi'im mention Mashiach under a secret name and they call Him “the Beloved.” And Yeshayahu spoke concerning His Ascension in his prophecy, saying, “ On that day the Beloved shall come down from heaven, and shall choose for Himself twelve Shelichim.” And again he said, “ I have seen the ascension of the beloved Son to the seventh heaven, and the Malakim and the Archangels receiving Him, He being very much higher than they.” And Daviyd said, “ The beloved is like the son of the unicorn ”; and again he said, “ And your only one from the horns of the unicorn.” And again he said, “ Let my horn be exalted like that of the unicorn.” 7 “ Horns ” meaneth the kingdoms of the world; and “ unicorn ” meaneth He Who is over His kingdom Whom no one can resist, for He is the governor of kings; He destroyeth whom He will and He setteth up him whom He will. Even as Daviyd says, ££ I will make you to rejoice more than those who are mighty through their horns,” 1 which meaneth, ££ you are nobler than the noble kings, and you do rejoice.” And Habakkuk prophesied, saying, ££ Horns are in his hands, 2 and he has placed the beloved in the strength of his power,” which meaneth, ££ The palms of the hand, in which the life of all is held, of the holder of the dominion of kings, are pierced with nails, which Mashiach, the beloved, has endured in the strength of His might.”
