1
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living beings saying with a voice like thunder, "Come."
2
And I saw, and see - a white horse, and the one sitting upon it had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming and so that he might overcome.
3
And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living being saying, "Come."
4
And another horse went out, fiery red, and to the one sitting upon it was given authority to take shalom from the earth so that they would slaughter one another; and a great sword was given to him.
5
And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living being saying, "Come." And I saw, and see - a black horse, and the one sitting upon it had a balance in his hand.
6
And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living beings saying, "A measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius; but do not harm the oil and the wine."
7
And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living being saying, "Come."
8
And I saw, and see - a pale-green horse, and the name of the one sitting upon it was Death, and Sheol followed with him. And authority was given to them over the fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, famine, death, and the beasts of the earth.
9
And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw beneath the altar the beings of those who had been slaughtered because of the Word of Elohim and because of the testimony they held.
10
And they cried with a great voice, saying, "Until when, Sovereign Master, Set-Apart and True, do You not judge and avenge our blood upon those dwelling upon the earth?"
11
And a white garment was given to each of them, and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were about to be killed as they had been, should also be completed.
12
And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black like sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood.
13
And the stars of the heavens fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
14
And the heavens withdrew like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved from their places.
15
And the kings of the earth, the great ones, the commanders, the rich, the strong, and every servant and free one hid themselves in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16
And they said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall upon us and hide us from the face of the One sitting upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,
17
because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
