1
And I saw another strong messenger descending from the heavens, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow upon his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
2
And in his hand he had a little scroll opened. And he placed his right foot upon the sea and his left upon the earth,
3
and cried with a great voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders spoke their own voices.
4
And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from the heavens saying, "Seal the things which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them."
5
And the messenger whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth lifted his right hand toward the heavens
6
and swore by the One living to the ages of the ages, who created the heavens and the things in them, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there shall be no further delay,
7
but in the days of the voice of the seventh messenger, whenever he is about to sound, the mystery of Elohim shall be completed, just as He proclaimed the Besorah to His servants the prophets.
8
And the voice which I heard from the heavens spoke with me again and said, "Go, take the opened scroll in the hand of the messenger standing upon the sea and upon the earth."
9
And I went to the messenger, saying to him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, "Take it and eat it. It shall make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it shall be sweet like honey."
10
And I took the little scroll from the hand of the messenger and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet like honey; and when I ate it, my belly was made bitter.
11
And they said to me, "You must prophesy again concerning many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."
