He answered and said to me: That time is divided into twelve parts, and each one is reserved for what has been appointed to it.

In the first part: the beginning of disturbances.

In the second part: killings of the great ones.

In the third part: the fall of many by death.

In the fourth part: the sending of the sword.

In the fifth part: famine and the withholding of rain.

In the sixth part: disturbances and terrors.

In the seventh part:—

In the eighth part: a multitude of apparitions and assaults of shedim.

In the ninth part: the fall of fire.

In the tenth part: much seizure and oppression.

In the eleventh part: wickedness and unrestrained impurity.

In the twelfth part: a mingled confusion of all the things spoken beforehand.

These parts of that time are reserved, yet they shall be mingled with one another and minister one to another.

For some shall draw from their own evils, others shall receive from those of other parts, and some shall complete both their own and those of others, so that those living upon the earth in those days may not understand that it is the completion of the times.
