But you, Baruk, prepare your heart for what has been spoken to you and understand what was shown to you, for you have many everlasting consolations.

You shall depart from this place and pass from the regions now visible to you. You shall forget what is corruptible and no longer remember the things among mortals.

Go, command your people, then come to this place. Afterward fast seven days, and then I shall come to you and speak with you.
