1
I prayed again before El Elyon concerning mercy.
2
“Yahuah, You who formed Adam and breathed life into him, You who command the heavens and the earth, hear Your servant.”
3
“Your creation is dust before You, and our life is brief.”
4
“Do not look only upon our lawlessness; remember the work of Your hands.”
5
“You have compassion upon the creature because the creature is Yours.”
6
“If You destroy everyone who sins, upon whom will Your compassion be revealed?”
7
“The nations may be like drops from a vessel, but Yisra'el is the people called by Your Name.”
8
“Your Torah is our glory even when we have failed to keep it.”
9
I asked that mercy be shown to those who turn.
10
The answer declared that the world was made for many, but the future inheritance for those who walk faithfully.
11
“Mosheh spoke life and death before the people. They were not deprived of knowledge.”
12
“The evil heart is strong, but no one is compelled to call evil good.”
13
I asked again concerning the signs of the end.
14
Uri'el said, “Measure the age by itself. When birth pains multiply, the delivery is near.”
15
“The beginning of the last period shall bring confusion, oppression, disorder among rulers, and instability among peoples.”
16
“Truth shall be resisted, yet those who keep understanding will know the pattern.”
17
“When what has been foretold begins to appear, recognize that the end is not distant.”
18
I was told to fast again and go into a field where no house had been built.
19
There I was to eat only flowers of the field and petition El Elyon.
20
I went as commanded.
21
After the appointed days, I lifted my voice again.
22
“You once told Your servant Mosheh that heaven and earth would witness against Yisra'el.”
23
“If the people are destroyed completely, where is the witness to the Covenant?”
24
“Let Your mercy preserve a remnant so that Your Name is not treated as empty among the nations.”
25
The answer assured me that the righteous are not forgotten.
26
“The farmer does not uproot the whole field because weeds are present; he waits for the proper harvest.”
27
“Those who have treasured Torah shall be distinguished from those who despised it.”
28
“Do not judge the entire purpose from the middle of the process.”
