1
A young ishah named Tabitha shall hear that the shameless one has revealed himself in the set-apart places.
2
She shall put on her linen garment and go toward Yehudah and Yerushalayim.
3
She shall rebuke him openly: “Shameless one, son of lawlessness, enemy of the set-apart ones, you have deceived many.”
4
The lawless one shall rage against her and kill her.
5
Her blood shall become a sign among the people, and those who witness her testimony shall understand that fear did not rule her.
6
The tradition then declares that she shall be restored to life, shaming the one who claimed power over death.
7
Afterward Chanokh and Eliyahu shall appear and confront the son of lawlessness.
8
They shall say, “Have you no shame? You have made yourself an enemy of the set-apart ones.”
9
He will argue against them and seek to prove his authority.
10
They will expose his falsehood before the people.
11
He will rage because their words strip away his disguise.
12
He will seize them in the public place.
13
He will kill Eliyahu and Chanokh before the eyes of the inhabitants.
14
Their bodies will lie exposed while the lawless one celebrates victory.
15
But life will return to them, and they will rise.
16
They will rebuke him again, proving that his authority is not final.
17
The son of lawlessness will then turn his fury toward the set-apart ones throughout the land.
18
He will pursue those who refuse his sign and those who will not call him deliverer.
19
Many shall be imprisoned and tortured.
20
Many shall be killed.
21
Some shall flee into the wilderness and into hidden places.
22
Hunger and thirst shall press upon the fugitives.
23
Yahuah shall preserve a remnant whom the lawless one cannot completely destroy.
24
The martyrs shall be remembered before the heavenly Throne.
25
The dead who remained faithful shall be received and raised according to the promise.
26
Their suffering shall not be treated as defeat in the Judgment of El Elyon.
27
Those who killed them shall discover that violence could reach the body but not erase the testimony.
28
The set-apart ones shall be strengthened by what they see.
29
They shall know that the reign of the lawless one is measured.
30
A company of righteous ones shall rise against him in testimony.
31
He will burn some of them in his wrath.
32
Yet even this will only increase the witness against him.
33
His fury will hasten the unveiling of his own end.
