1
Mikhah was remembered as belonging to Efrayim. The collection associates his death with a royal house hostile to prophetic rebuke and says he was cast down and killed because he condemned the crookedness of the rulers.
2
He was buried in his own land, near a burial place remembered in connection with the Anakim. The notice is brief and should not be confused with the separate canonical superscription of Sefer Mikhah.
