Book 9 — Chapter 10 - The Overthrow of the Tyrants and Their Final Words
Book IX narrates the renewed anti-Christian policy under Maximinus Daia, propaganda, famine and war, and the victories of Constantine and Licinius over rival rulers. The chapter advances Eusebius's chronological chain by identifying the people, writings, disputes, and public events that connect one generation of the assemblies to the next. In this reconstruction the chapter coordinate is preserved as Book 9, Chapter 10, and the full subject is retained under the heading 'The Overthrow of the Tyrants and Their Final Words'. Names, dates, quoted-source relationships, and political or textual function are kept distinct from Eusebius's own interpretive claims.
