1
Then Toviyt wrote a prayer of rejoicing and said: “Blessed is Elohim who lives forever, and blessed is His Kingdom.
2
For He disciplines, and He shows mercy. He brings down to Sheol, and He brings up, and there is no one who can escape His hand.
3
Confess Him, sons of Yisra’el, before the nations, for He scattered you among them.
4
There declare His greatness. Exalt Him before every living being, because He is our Master and He is our Elohim. He is our Father forever and ever.
5
He will discipline us for our crookednesses, but again He will show mercy and gather us from all the nations among whom He scattered us.
6
If you turn to Him with all your heart and with all your being, to do truth before Him, then He will turn to you and will no longer hide His face from you. And now see what He has done with you, and confess Him with your whole voice. Bless the Master of Righteousness, and exalt the King of the Ages. As for me, in the land of my captivity I confess Him, and I make known His strength and majesty to a sinful nation. Turn, sinners, and do Righteousness before Him. Who knows whether He will desire you and show you mercy?
7
I exalt my Elohim, and my being exalts the King of the heavens and rejoices in His greatness.
8
Let all speak, and let all confess Him in Yerushalayim.
9
Yerushalayim, holy city, He will discipline you for the works of your sons, but again He will show mercy upon the sons of the righteous.
10
Confess Yahuah well, and bless the King of the Ages, that His Dwelling may again be built in you with joy, and that He may rejoice in you over the captives and love in you those who are afflicted through all generations forever.
11
Many nations shall come from far away to the Name of Yahuah Elohim, bearing gifts in their hands, even gifts to the King of the heavens. Generations of generations shall give you joyful praise.
12
Cursed are all who hate you. Blessed forever shall be all who love you.
13
Rejoice and be glad over the sons of the righteous, for they shall be gathered together and shall bless the Master of the righteous.
14
Blessed are those who love you, and blessed are those who rejoice in your shalom. Blessed are all those who grieved over all your afflictions, for they shall rejoice over you when they see all your Glory, and they shall rejoice forever.
15
Let my being bless Elohim, the great King.
16
For Yerushalayim shall be built with sapphire and emerald, and your walls with precious stones. And your towers and battlements with pure gold.
17
And the streets of Yerushalayim shall be paved with beryl and stones from Ophir.
18
And all her streets shall say: ‘Hallelu-Yah!’ And they shall praise Him, saying: ‘Blessed is Elohim, who has exalted her forever.’”
