1
Thus all the work that Shəlomah made for the House of Yahuah was completed. And Shəlomah brought in the set-apart things of Daviyd his father—the silver, the gold, and all the vessels—and placed them among the treasuries of the House of Elohim.
2
Then Shəlomah assembled the elders of Yisra’el and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the children of Yisra’el, to Yerushalayim, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah from the City of Daviyd, which is Tziyon.
3
And every ish of Yisra’el assembled to the king at the feast, in the seventh month.
4
And all the elders of Yisra’el came, and the Leviyim lifted the Ark.
5
They brought up the Ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the set-apart vessels that were in the Tent; the kohenim and the Leviyim brought them up.
6
And King Shəlomah, and the whole assembly of Yisra’el gathered to him before the Ark, sacrificed sheep and cattle that could not be counted or numbered for abundance.
7
And the kohenim brought the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah into its place, into the inner sanctuary of the House, the Most Set-Apart Place, beneath the wings of the keruvim.
8
For the keruvim spread their wings over the place of the Ark, and the keruvim covered the Ark and its poles from above.
9
And the poles were long, so that their ends were seen from the Ark before the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside; and they remain there to this day.
10
Nothing was in the Ark except the two tablets that Mosheh placed there at Chorev, where Yahuah cut Covenant with the children of Yisra’el when they came out from Mitzrayim.
11
And it came to pass when the kohenim came out from the Set-Apart Place—for all the kohenim who were present had set themselves apart, without keeping to their divisions—
12
and all the singing Leviyim, Asaf, Heman, Yedutun, their sons and their brothers, clothed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar, and with them one hundred twenty kohenim sounding the trumpets—
13
and it came to pass when the trumpeters and singers were as one, causing one voice to be heard in praising and thanking Yahuah, and when they lifted their voice with trumpets, cymbals, and instruments of song, praising Yahuah, “For He is good, for His covenant-kindness endures through all ages,” that the House—the House of Yahuah—was filled with a cloud.
14
And the kohenim could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the weight of the Splendor of Yahuah filled the House of Elohim.
