Thus ends the account of the exile of Yisra’el to Bavel and the return appointed by Yahuah. Public Provenance Ledger Coptic - Sahidic: The principal surviving form. Pierpont Morgan M. 578 preserves the complete Coptic text; additional Sahidic and Fayyumic fragments preserve independent portions. Arabic / Garshuni: Multiple later manuscripts preserve related recensions. Some belong to an Egyptian line closer to the Coptic, while others show Syrian/Palestinian/Mesopotamian reshaping. Greek: A Greek predecessor is strongly inferred from the Coptic transmission and Greek loan vocabulary, but no complete Greek manuscript of this work survives. Slavonic: Not used as baseline authority for this construction. Relation to 4 Baruch: The work is closely related to the tradition commonly called 4 Baruch / Paralipomena of Jeremiah. HaSefarim keeps the two literary forms distinct rather than silently collapsing them.
