Eusebius recounts the remarkable adoption of Yehudi worship by Queen Helena of Adiabene and members of her house. She travels to Yerushalayim, contributes generously during famine, and is remembered for acts of relief. Her son Izates likewise embraces Yehudi practice after instruction, though the path to circumcision is debated among his advisers. Yosephus's account supplies most of the narrative. Eusebius values the episode because it demonstrates the attraction of Yisra'el's ancestral faith beyond ethnic boundaries before the later Christian mission became dominant. Helena's tomb near Yerushalayim was still a known monument in the ancient city.
