Book VII follows Dionysius of Alexandria through disputes over washing converts, Valerian's persecution, Gallienus's peace, the Apocalypse debate, Paulos of Samosata, and the emergence of the Manichaean movement. The chapter records coercion under Roman or local authority: arrest, interrogation, confiscation, exile, torture, execution, or public pressure. Eusebius praises endurance but also records those who yielded, fled, or were later restored. In this reconstruction the chapter coordinate is preserved as Book 7, Chapter 18, and the full subject is retained under the heading 'The Statue Connected with the Ishah Healed of a Flow of Blood'. Names, dates, quoted-source relationships, and political or textual function are kept distinct from Eusebius's own interpretive claims.
