1
In those days a king from the east shall come against them, and his cavalry shall cover their land.
2
He shall burn their city with fire together with the set-apart House of Yahuah, and he shall carry away the set-apart vessels.
3
He shall drive out the people and take them into the land of his own dominion; even the two tribes shall be carried away.
4
Then the two tribes shall call toward the ten tribes, moving like a lioness across a dusty plain, hungry and thirsty.
5
They shall cry: “Righteous and set apart is Yahuah. Because you sinned, we also have been carried away with you, together with our children.”
6
The ten tribes shall mourn when they hear the rebuke of the two tribes.
7
And they shall answer: “What have we done to you, our brothers? Has not this tribulation fallen upon all the House of Yisra’el?”
8
Then all the tribes shall mourn and cry toward the heavens.
9
They shall say: “Elohim of Avraham, Elohim of Yitzchaq, and Elohim of Yaaqov, remember Your Covenant with them and the Oath You swore by Yourself, that their Seed should not finally fail from the land You gave.”
10
Then tribe shall speak to tribe and each ish to his neighbor, remembering the warnings of Mosheh.
11
They shall say: “Was this not what Mosheh declared to us beforehand, he who endured Mitsrayim, the Sea of Reeds, and forty years in the wilderness?”
12
“He called the heavens and the earth as witnesses against us, warning that we must not transgress the commandments of which he was mediator to us.”
13
“See, after his death these things have come upon us according to his declaration, even our captivity in the land of the east.”
14
And they shall remain in that bondage through the appointed span, about seventy-seven years. Assumption of Moses
