1
Because of these visions Beliar was enraged with Yeshayahu, and he dwelt in the heart of Menasheh; and Menasheh had Yeshayahu sawn apart with a wooden saw.
2
And while Yeshayahu was being sawn apart, Belkhira stood accusing him, and all the false prophets stood laughing and rejoicing because of Yeshayahu.
3
And Belkhira, with the help of Mekhembekhus, stood before Yeshayahu, mocking him.
4
And Belkhira said to Yeshayahu: 'Say: I have lied in everything I spoke, and the ways of Menasheh are good and right.'
5
'And the ways of Belkhira and his companions are also good.'
6
And he said this to him when they began to saw him apart.
7
But Yeshayahu was absorbed in a vision of the Master; though his eyes were open, he did not see them.
8
And Belkhira said to Yeshayahu: 'Say what I tell you, and I shall turn their hearts; I shall compel Menasheh, the rulers of Yehudah, the people, and all Yerushalayim to honor you.'
9
And Yeshayahu answered: 'So long as I have breath to speak: cursed and accused are you, all your powers, and all your house.'
10
'For you are able to take from me nothing except the skin of my body.'
11
And they seized Yeshayahu son of Amotz and sawed him apart with a wooden saw.
12
And Menasheh, Belkhira, the false prophets, the rulers, and the people stood watching.
13
And before he had been sawn apart he said to the prophets who were with him: 'Go to the region of Tzor and Tzidon, for for me alone has Elohim mixed the cup.'
14
And while Yeshayahu was being sawn apart, he neither cried aloud nor wept, but his lips spoke through Holy Ruach until he had been sawn in two.
15
This Beliar did to Yeshayahu through Belkhira and Menasheh; for Samma'el had been greatly enraged against Yeshayahu from the days of Chizqiyahu king of Yehudah because of the things he had seen concerning the Beloved,
16
and because of the destruction of Samma'el which he had seen through the Master while Chizqiyahu was still king. And Menasheh acted according to the will of Satan.
