1
And again he raised me into the expanse of the sixth heaven, and I saw glory such as I had not seen in the five heavens.
2
For I saw messengers possessing great glory.
3
And the praise there was set apart and wonderful.
4
And I said to the messenger conducting me: 'What is this which I see, my master?'
5
And he said: 'I am not your master, but your fellow servant.'
6
And again I asked him: 'Why are there no fellow servants upon the left?'
7
And he said: 'From the sixth heaven there are no longer messengers upon the left and no throne set in the midst, for all are directed by the power of the seventh heaven, where dwells the One who is not named and the Chosen One, whose name has not been made known; none of the heavens is able to learn His Name.'
8
'For He alone is the One to whose voice all the heavens and thrones answer. I have therefore been empowered and sent to raise you here so that you may see this glory,'
9
'and so that you may see the Master of all these heavens and thrones,'
10
'who shall undergo successive transformation until He resembles your form and likeness.'
11
'I tell you, Yeshayahu: no Adam who is about to return into the body of that world has ascended or seen what you see, or perceived what you have perceived and shall yet see.'
12
'For it has been permitted to you in the lot of the Master to come here.'
13
And I magnified my Master with praise because through His lot I had come there.
14
And he said: 'Hear this also from your fellow servant: when by the will of Elohim you ascend here from the body, then you shall receive the garment you see, and you shall see other numbered garments stored there.'
15
'And then you shall become equal to the messengers of the seventh heaven.'
16
And he raised me into the sixth heaven, and there were none upon the left and no throne in the midst, but all had one appearance and equal power of praise.
17
And power was given also to me, and I praised together with them; and the messenger with me praised, and our praise was like theirs.
18
And there they all named the First Father, His Beloved the Anointed, and Holy Ruach, all with one voice.
19
And their voice was not like the voice of the messengers in the five heavens.
20
Nor was their speech like theirs, but the voice was different and there was much light.
21
And while I was in the sixth heaven, I regarded the light I had seen in the five heavens as darkness.
22
And I rejoiced and praised the One who bestowed such lights upon those waiting for His promise.
23
And I petitioned the messenger conducting me that I might no longer return to the world of flesh.
24
I tell you indeed, Chizqiyahu and Yosab my son and Mikhah, there is much darkness here below.
25
And the messenger conducting me perceived my thought and said: 'If you rejoice in this light, how much more shall you rejoice when in the seventh heaven you see the light where the Master and His Beloved are.'
26
'There you shall see the garments, thrones, and crowns stored for the righteous, for those who trust in the Master who shall descend in your form. For the light there is great and wonderful.'
27
'And concerning your desire not to return into the body: your days for remaining here have not yet been completed.'
28
And when I heard this I was troubled, but he said: 'Do not be troubled.'
