2:1
The messenger of the powers said, “Come, and I will show you the mysteries of Elohim.” He brought me to the place where the expanse had been fixed.
2:2
There was a river no one could cross, and no foreign breath among all the breaths Elohim created could pass it.
2:3
He led me to the first heaven and showed me an immense door. We entered as if carried on wings, traveling about thirty days.
2:4
Within that heaven he showed me a plain. Beings dwelt there with faces like cattle, horns like deer, feet like goats, and hindquarters like lambs.
2:5
I asked, “Tell me the thickness and extent of this heaven and the meaning of the plain, so that I may report it to the children of Adam.”
2:6
The messenger, whose name is preserved as Pama’el, said, “This is the gate of heaven. Its thickness is like the distance from earth to heaven; the plain stretches from north to south.”
2:7
I asked who the beings were. He answered, “These are those who built the tower of strife against Elohim; Yahuah scattered them.”
