1
And I said: O Yahuah, my Adonai, was it for this that I came into the world—to see the evil of my mother? No, my Adonai.
2
If I have found compassion in Your eyes, first take my ruach, that I may go to my fathers and not see the destruction of my mother.
3
For both things press upon me greatly. I am unable to stand against You, yet neither can my being endure seeing the evil of my mother.
4
But one thing I shall say before You, Yahuah:
5
What then shall be after these things? If You destroy Your city and deliver Your land to the enemies, how shall the Name of Yisra’el again be remembered?
6
Or how shall speech be made concerning Your praises? And to whom shall that which is in Your Torah be explained?
7
Or shall creation return to its own nature, and the world go again into the silence that was at the beginning?
8
Shall the multitude of beings be taken away, and the nature of the sons of adam no longer be named?
9
And where is everything You spoke to Mosheh concerning us?
