1
After the appointed Day has passed, the appearance of those condemned and the praise of those justified shall be transformed.
2
The form of those now practicing wickedness shall become worse than it is, so that they may bear torment.
3
The splendor of those now justified in My Torah—who had understanding in their life and planted the root of Wisdom in their heart—shall then be praised through transformations. The likeness of their faces shall turn into the light of their beauty, so that they may receive the immortal world then promised to them.
4
Those coming then who despised My Torah, closed their ears against Wisdom, and did not receive understanding shall groan exceedingly at this.
5
When they see those now exalted over them then lifted and praised more beautifully, while both groups are transformed—these into the splendor of messengers, those into astonishing visions—| they shall waste away at the sight.
6
For they shall first see, and afterward go to be tormented.
7
But those saved by their works, for whom the Torah is now hope, understanding expectation, and Wisdom belief, shall behold wonders in their time.
8
They shall see the world now invisible to them, and this present time shall be hidden from them.
9
Time shall no longer age them.
10
They shall dwell in the heights of that world, resemble messengers, be compared with the stars, and be transformed into every form they desire—from beauty to loveliness, and from light to the splendor of praise.
11
The expanses of the garden shall spread before them. They shall be shown the beauty of the living ones beneath the throne and all the hosts of messengers now restrained by My Word from being seen, held by Command to stand in their places until their coming arrives.
12
Then the excellence of the Righteous shall be greater than that of the messengers.
13
The first shall receive the latter who waited for them, and the latter those of whom they heard that they had passed.
14
For they have been delivered from this world of distress and laid down the burden of afflictions.
15
By what, then, did the sons of adam lose their life, and for what did those on earth exchange their beings?
16
They chose this time, which cannot pass free from distresses; they chose the time whose departures are filled with groaning and evils. They denied the world that does not age those who come to it and despised the appointed praise, so they shall not come to the honor spoken to you beforehand.
