1
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
2
“Make for yourself two trumpets of silver. Of hammered work you shall make them, and they shall be for you for calling the congregation and for causing the camps to journey.
3
And when they blow with them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
4
And if they blow with one, then the rulers, the heads of the thousands of Yisra’el, shall gather themselves to you.
5
And when you sound an alarm, the camps that encamp toward the east shall journey.
6
And when you sound a second alarm, the camps that encamp toward the south shall journey. An alarm they shall sound for their journeys.
7
But when the assembly is gathered, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.
8
And the sons of Aharon, the kohenim, shall blow with the trumpets. And they shall be for you as an everlasting statute throughout your generations.
9
And when you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before Yahuah your Elohim, and you shall be delivered from your enemies.
10
And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your ascending offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. And they shall be for you as a remembrance before your Elohim. I am Yahuah your Elohim.”
11
And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the Dwelling of the Testimony.

29
And Mosheh said to Chovav son of Reuel the Midyani, father-in-law of Mosheh, “We are journeying to the place of which Yahuah said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you, for Yahuah has spoken good concerning Yisra’el.”
30
And he said to him, “I will not go, but to my land and to my kindred I will go.”
31
And he said, “Please do not leave us, for you know where we should encamp in the wilderness, and you shall be to us as eyes.
32
And it shall be, if you go with us, then whatever good Yahuah does for us, we will do the same good to you.”
33
And they journeyed from the mountain of Yahuah a journey of three days. And the ark of the covenant of Yahuah journeyed before them a journey of three days, to search out a resting place for them.

And it came to pass, whenever the ark journeyed, that Mosheh said, “Rise, Yahuah, and let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee from before Your face.”
36
And when it rested, he said, “Return, Yahuah, to the countless thousands of Yisra’el.”
