1
And on the third day there was a wedding in Qanah of Galil. And the mother of Yahushua was there.
2
And Yahushua also was invited to the wedding, and his talmidim with him.
3
And when the wine ran short, the mother of Yahushua said to him: “They have no wine.”
4
And Yahushua said to her: “Ishah, what is there between me and you? My hour has not yet come.”
5
His mother said to the servants: “Whatever he says to you, do it.”
6
Now there were there six stone water vessels, set according to the purification practice of the Yehudim, each holding two or three measures.
7
Yahushua said to them: “Fill the vessels with water.” And they filled them to the top.
8
And he said to them: “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.
9
And when the master of the feast tasted the water that had become wine, not knowing from where it came— though the servants who had drawn the water knew— the master of the feast called the bridegroom
10
and said to him: “Every ish sets out the good wine first, and when they have drunk freely, then the lesser. But you have kept the good wine until now.”
11
This beginning of the signs Yahushua did in Qanah of Galil, and revealed his glory. And his talmidim trusted in him.
12
After this he went down to Kefar-Nachum— he, and his mother, and his brothers, and his talmidim— and they remained there not many days.
13
And the Pesach of the Yehudim was near, and Yahushua went up to Yerushalayim.
14
And he found in the House those selling oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money changers sitting there.
15
And making a whip from cords, he drove them all out of the House— the sheep and the oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16
And to those selling doves he said: “Take these things away from here. Do not make the House of my Father a house of trade.”
17
And his talmidim remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your House shall consume me.”
18
Therefore the Yehudim answered and said to him: “What sign do you show us for doing these things?”
19
Yahushua answered and said to them: “Destroy this Sanctuary, and in three days I shall raise it.”
20
Therefore the Yehudim said: “Forty-six years this Sanctuary was being built, and you shall raise it in three days?”
21
But he was speaking concerning the Sanctuary of his body.
22
Therefore, when he was raised from the dead, his talmidim remembered that he had said this, and they trusted the writing and the Word which Yahushua had spoken.
23
And when he was in Yerushalayim during Pesach, at the feast, many trusted in his Name when they saw the signs which he was doing.
24
But Yahushua himself did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all Adam,
25
and because he had no need that anyone should testify concerning Adam, for he himself knew what was within Adam.
