1
After saying these things, Yahushua went out with his talmidim across the wadi of Qidron, where there was a garden. And he entered it, he and his talmidim.
2
And Yehudah, the one handing him over, also knew the place, because Yahushua often gathered there with his talmidim.
3
Therefore Yehudah, having received a cohort and officers from the chief kohenim and the Perushim, came there with lamps, torches, and weapons.
4
Yahushua therefore, knowing everything that was about to come upon him, went forward and said to them: “Whom are you seeking?”
5
They answered him: “Yahushua the Natzri.” He said to them: “I am he.” And Yehudah, the one handing him over, was standing with them.
6
Therefore when he said to them: “I am he,” they drew backward and fell to the ground.
7
Again therefore he asked them: “Whom are you seeking?” And they said: “Yahushua the Natzri.”
8
Yahushua answered: “I told you that I am he. Therefore if you seek me, permit these to go.”
