1
Hear, therefore, O kings, and understand. Learn, you judges of the ends of the earth.
2
Give ear, you who rule over multitudes and boast in many peoples.
3
For your authority was given to you from Yahuah, and your sovereignty from El Elyon, who shall examine your works and search out your counsels.
4
Because, though servants of His Kingdom, you did not judge uprightly, nor guard the Torah, nor walk according to the counsel of Elohim.
5
Terribly and swiftly He shall come upon you, for severe Judgment falls upon those who stand in high places.
6
For the lowly may be shown compassion, but the mighty shall be mightily examined.
7
For the Master of all shall not shrink before any face, nor stand in awe of greatness. For He Himself made both small and great, and He takes thought for all alike.
8
But a severe inquiry awaits the mighty.
9
To you, therefore, O rulers, are my words, that you may learn wisdom and not fall away.
10
For those who guard holy things in holiness shall themselves be made holy, and those who are taught these things shall find a defense.
11
Therefore set your desire upon my words. Long for them, and you shall be instructed.
12
Wisdom is radiant and does not fade. She is easily seen by those who love her and found by those who seek her.
13
She comes beforehand to make herself known to those who desire her.
14
The one who rises early to seek her shall not labor, for he shall find her sitting at his gates.
15
To set one’s thought upon her is fullness of understanding, and the one who keeps watch because of her shall soon be without anxiety.
16
For she herself goes about seeking those worthy of her, and graciously appears to them in their paths and meets them in every thought.
17
For the true beginning of wisdom is desire for discipline, and care for discipline is love.
18
And love is the guarding of her laws, and giving attention to her laws is assurance of incorruption.
19
And incorruption brings one near to Elohim.
20
Therefore desire for wisdom leads toward a Kingdom.
21
If, therefore, you delight in thrones and scepters, O rulers of peoples, honor wisdom, that you may reign forever.
22
But what wisdom is, and how she came to be, I shall declare, and I shall not hide mysteries from you. But I shall trace her from the beginning of creation and bring her knowledge into the light and shall not pass by the truth.
23
Nor shall I walk with consuming envy, for envy has no fellowship with wisdom.
24
But the multitude of the wise is salvation for the world, and a discerning king is stability for a people.
25
Therefore be instructed by my words, and you shall receive profit.
