1
“And it shall be, when all these words come upon you—the blessing and the curse that I have placed before your face—and you return them to your heart among all the nations where Yahuah your Elohim has driven you,
2
and you return to Yahuah your Elohim and listen to His voice according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, with all your heart and with all your being,
3
then Yahuah your Elohim will return your captivity and have compassion upon you, and He will return and gather you from all the peoples where Yahuah your Elohim has scattered you.
4
If your outcasts are at the end of the heavens, from there Yahuah your Elohim will gather you, and from there He will take you.
5
And Yahuah your Elohim will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He will do good to you and multiply you more than your fathers.
6
And Yahuah your Elohim will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you may live.
7
And Yahuah your Elohim will place all these curses upon your enemies and upon those who hate you, who pursued you.
8
And you shall return and listen to the voice of Yahuah and do all His commandments that I command you today.
9
And Yahuah your Elohim will cause you to abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good. For Yahuah will return to rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers,
10
if you listen to the voice of Yahuah your Elohim, to guard His commandments and His statutes that are written in this sefer of the Torah, when you return to Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.
11
For this commandment that I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far away.
12
It is not in the heavens, that you should say, ‘Who will go up for us to the heavens and take it for us and cause us to hear it, that we may do it?’
13
And it is not beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross beyond the sea for us and take it for us and cause us to hear it, that we may do it?’
14
For the word is exceedingly near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it.
15
See, I have placed before your face today life and good, and death and evil,
16
in that I command you today to love Yahuah your Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to guard His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, so that you may live and multiply, and Yahuah your Elohim may bless you in the land into which you are going to possess it.
17
But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, and you are driven away and bow yourself to other elohim and serve them,
18
I declare to you today that perishing, you shall surely perish. You shall not prolong your days upon the ground into which you are crossing the Yarden to go there to possess it.
19
I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today: life and death I have placed before your face, the blessing and the curse. And you shall choose life, so that you and your seed may live,
20
to love Yahuah your Elohim, to listen to His voice, and to hold fast to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell upon the ground that Yahuah swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchaq, and to Yaaqov, to give to them.”
