Akrandis of Midyan gathers forces to oppress Yisra'el beyond the Yarden and demands tribute.
Yisra'el cries out in grief, and three brothers - Yehudah, Mebikyas, and Meqabees - accept the danger on behalf of the people.
They strike the invading king and army, and the enemy collapses and flees.
