1
And you, being dead in your trespasses and sins,
2
in which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the ruach now working among the children of disobedience—
3
among whom we also all once conducted ourselves in the desires of our flesh, doing the wills of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.
4
But Elohim, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5
even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with the Anointed— by grace you have been delivered—
6
and raised us together and seated us together in the heavenly places in Yahushua the Anointed,
7
so that in the ages that are coming He might display the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Yahushua the Anointed.
8
For by grace you have been delivered through trust, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of Elohim,
9
not from works, so that no one may boast.
10
For we are His workmanship, created in Yahushua the Anointed for good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand so that we should walk in them.
11
Therefore remember that formerly you, the nations in flesh, those called “uncircumcision” by what is called “circumcision” made in flesh by hands,
12
were at that time apart from the Anointed, alienated from the citizenship of Yisra’el, and strangers to the Covenants of the promise, having no hope and without Elohim in the world.
13
But now, in Yahushua the Anointed, you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of the Anointed.
14
For he is our shalom, the one who made the two one, and broke down the dividing wall of hostility in his flesh,
15
nullifying the enmity expressed through ordinances that stood as a dividing boundary, so that he might create the two in himself into one renewed Adam, making shalom,
16
and might reconcile both in one body to Elohim through the execution stake, having put the hostility to death through it.
17
And coming, he proclaimed shalom to you who were far away, and shalom to those who were near.
18
For through him we both have access in one Ruach to the Father.
19
Therefore then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the set-apart ones and members of the Household of Elohim,
20
having been built upon the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Yahushua the Anointed himself being the cornerstone,
21
in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Sanctuary in Yahuah,
22
in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of Elohim in Ruach.
