1
We who are strong are bound to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not to please ourselves.
2
Let each of us please the neighbor for good, toward building up.
3
For even the Mashiyach did not please himself, but as it is written: “The insults of those insulting you fell upon me.”
4
For whatever was written beforehand was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through the encouragement of the writings we might have hope.
5
Now may the Elohim of endurance and encouragement give you the same mind among one another according to Yahushua the Mashiyach,
6
so that with one accord and one mouth you may glorify the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahushua the Mashiyach.
7
Therefore receive one another, just as the Mashiyach also received you, for Elohim’s glory.
8
For I say that the Mashiyach became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of Elohim’s truth, to confirm the promises given to the ancestors,
9
and so that the nations might glorify Elohim for mercy, as it is written: “Therefore I will confess you among nations, and I will sing to your name.”
10
And again it says: “Rejoice, nations, with his people.”
11
And again: “Praise Yahuah, all nations, and let all peoples praise him.”
12
And again Yeshayahu says: “The root of Yishai will come—the one rising to rule nations; upon him nations will hope.”
13
Now may the Elohim of hope fill you with all joy and peace in trusting, so that you overflow in hope through the Set-Apart Spirit’s power.
14
But I myself am persuaded concerning you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able also to admonish one another.
15
Yet I wrote to you more boldly on some points, as reminding you again, because of the favor given to me by Elohim
16
to be a public servant of Yahushua the Mashiyach to the nations, performing sacred service for Elohim’s good message, so that the offering of the nations may become acceptable, set apart in the Set-Apart Spirit.
17
Therefore I have boasting in Yahushua the Mashiyach concerning things related to Elohim.
18
For I will not dare to speak of anything except what the Mashiyach worked through me for the obedience of nations, by word and work,
19
in power of signs and wonders, in power of Elohim’s Spirit, so that from Yerushalayim and around as far as Illyrikon I have fully proclaimed the Mashiyach’s good message.
20
And in this way I aspire to announce the good message not where the Mashiyach was already named, so that I would not build upon another’s foundation,
21
but as it is written: “Those to whom it was not announced concerning him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”
22
For this reason I was also prevented many times from coming to you.
23
But now, no longer having a place in these regions and having had a longing for many years to come to you,
24
whenever I travel to Spania, I hope to see you while passing through and to be sent forward there by you, after I have first enjoyed your company in part.
25
But now I am traveling to Yerushalayim, serving the set-apart ones.
26
For Makedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the set-apart ones in Yerushalayim.
27
They were pleased, and indeed they are debtors to them. For if the nations shared in their spiritual things, they are also bound to serve them in material things.
28
Therefore, after I complete this and seal this fruit to them, I will depart through you for Spania.
29
And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the Mashiyach’s blessing.
30
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, through our Master Yahushua the Mashiyach and through the Spirit’s love, to strive together with me in prayers to Elohim on my behalf,
31
so that I may be rescued from the disobedient in Yehudah and my service for Yerushalayim may be acceptable to the set-apart ones,
32
so that by Elohim’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed together with you.
33
Now the Elohim of peace be with all of you. Amein.
