1
Paulos and Timotheos, servants of Yahushua the Anointed, to all the set-apart ones in Yahushua the Anointed who are in Philippi, together with the overseers and servants:
2
Grace to you and shalom from Elohim our Father and the Master Yahushua the Anointed.
3
I give thanks to my Elohim upon every remembrance of you,
4
always, in every petition of mine for all of you, making the petition with joy,
5
because of your fellowship in the Besorah from the first day until now,
6
being confident of this very thing: that the One who began a good work among you shall bring it to completion until the day of Yahushua the Anointed.
7
It is righteous for me to think this way concerning all of you, because I hold you in my heart, since both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the Besorah, you are all fellow participants with me in grace.
8
For Elohim is my witness, how greatly I long for all of you with the inward affection of Yahushua the Anointed.
9
And this I petition: that your love may overflow still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,
10
so that you may test the things that are excellent, so that you may be pure and without stumbling until the day of the Anointed,
11
having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Yahushua the Anointed, for the glory and praise of Elohim.
12
Now I desire you to know, brothers, that the things concerning me have actually advanced the Besorah,
13
so that my chains in the Anointed have become manifest throughout the whole praetorium and to all the rest,
14
and most of the brothers in the Master, having become confident through my chains, are more abundantly bold to speak the Word without fear.
15
Some indeed proclaim the Anointed through envy and rivalry, but others through goodwill.
16
The latter do so from love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the Besorah.
17
But the former proclaim the Anointed from selfish rivalry, not sincerely, thinking to raise affliction for me in my chains.
18
What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, the Anointed is proclaimed. And in this I rejoice. Indeed, I shall continue to rejoice,
19
for I know that this shall turn toward my deliverance through your petition and the supply of the Ruach of Yahushua the Anointed,
20
according to my eager expectation and hope that in nothing shall I be put to shame, but with all boldness, as always, so now also, the Anointed shall be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.
21
For to me, to live is the Anointed, and to die is gain.
22
But if living in flesh means fruitful labor for me, then what I shall choose I do not know.
23
I am pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with the Anointed, for that is far better,
24
but to remain in flesh is more necessary because of you.
25
And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with all of you for your advancement and joy in the trust,
26
so that your boasting in Yahushua the Anointed may overflow because of me through my coming to you again.
27
Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Besorah of the Anointed, so that whether I come and see you, or remain absent, I may hear the things concerning you: that you stand firm in one ruach, with one being, striving together for the trust of the Besorah,
28
and not being frightened in anything by those opposing you, which is a sign to them of destruction, but to you of deliverance— and this from Elohim.
29
For to you it was granted concerning the Anointed not only to trust in him, but also to suffer for his sake,
30
having the same struggle which you saw in me and now hear to be in me.
