1
Therefore, if there is any encouragement in the Anointed, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of Ruach, if any inward affection and compassion,
2
complete my joy by thinking the same thing, having the same love, being joined in being, thinking the one thing,
3
doing nothing from selfish rivalry or empty glory, but in humility regarding one another as surpassing yourselves,
4
each one looking not only toward his own interests, but also toward the interests of others.
5
Let this mind be among you which was also in Yahushua the Anointed,
6
who, existing in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim as something to be seized,
7
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, coming to be in the likeness of Adam. And being found in outward form as an Adam,
8
he humbled himself, becoming obedient until death— even death upon an execution stake.
9
Because of this, Elohim also highly exalted him and granted him the Name above every name,
10
so that at the Name of Yahushua every knee should bend— of those in the heavens, and upon the earth, and beneath the earth—
11
and every tongue should confess that Yahushua the Anointed is Master, to the glory of Elohim the Father.
12
Therefore, my beloved, just as you always obeyed— not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence— work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling,
13
for it is Elohim who works within you both the willing and the working according to His good pleasure.
14
Do all things without grumbling and disputes,
15
so that you may become blameless and pure, children of Elohim without blemish in the midst of a crooked and distorted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
16
holding firmly the Word of Life, so that I may have reason for boasting in the day of the Anointed, that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain.
17
But even if I am poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your trust, I rejoice and rejoice together with all of you.
18
And in the same way, you also rejoice and rejoice together with me.
19
But I hope in the Master Yahushua to send Timotheos to you soon, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn the things concerning you.
20
For I have no one of equal being who shall genuinely care for the things concerning you.
21
For all seek their own things, not the things of Yahushua the Anointed.
22
But you know his proven character, that as a child with a father he served with me for the Besorah.
23
Therefore I hope to send him immediately, as soon as I see how the things concerning me shall turn out.
24
But I trust in the Master that I myself shall also come soon.
25
Yet I considered it necessary to send to you Epaphroditos, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, and your emissary and servant to my need,
26
because he was longing for all of you and was distressed because you heard that he had been sick.
27
For indeed he was sick near to death, but Elohim showed mercy to him, and not to him only, but also to me, so that I would not have grief upon grief.
28
Therefore I sent him all the more eagerly, so that seeing him again you may rejoice, and I may be less grieved.
29
Therefore receive him in the Master with all joy, and hold such men in honor,
30
because for the work of the Anointed he came near to death, risking his life so that he might fill up what was lacking in your service toward me.
