1
Are we beginning again to recommend ourselves? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
2
You yourselves are our letter, written upon our hearts, known and read by all Adam,
3
being made manifest that you are a letter of the Anointed served through us, written not with ink but with Ruach of the living Elohim, not upon tablets of stone, but upon tablets of flesh— hearts.
4
And such confidence we have through the Anointed toward Elohim.
5
Not that we are sufficient from ourselves to reckon anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from Elohim,
6
who also made us sufficient as servants of a renewed covenant, not of letter but of Ruach, for the letter kills, but Ruach gives life.
7
But if the service of death, engraved in letters upon stones, came in glory, so that the children of Yisra’el were not able to gaze steadily upon the face of Mosheh because of the glory of his face, which was fading,
8
how much more shall the service of Ruach be in glory?
9
For if the service of condemnation had glory, much more does the service of righteousness overflow in glory.
10
For indeed what had been glorified has not been glorified in this respect, because of the glory that surpasses it.
11
For if what was fading came through glory, much more what remains is in glory.
12
Therefore, having such hope, we use great boldness,
13
and not like Mosheh, who placed a veil upon his face so that the children of Yisra’el would not gaze toward the end of what was fading.
14
But their minds were hardened. For until this very day, at the reading of the old covenant, the same veil remains, not being lifted, because in the Anointed it is removed.
15
But until today, whenever Mosheh is read, a veil lies upon their heart.
16
But whenever one turns toward Yahuah, the veil is removed.
17
Now Yahuah is Ruach, and where the Ruach of Yahuah is, there is freedom.
18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of Yahuah, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from Yahuah, the Ruach.
