1
I saw Adonai standing upon the altar, and He said: “Strike the capital, that the thresholds may shake. Break them upon the head of all of them, and the last of them I will kill by the sword. No one among them who flees shall escape, and no one among them who escapes shall be delivered.
2
Though they dig into Sheol, from there My hand shall take them. Though they ascend into the heavens, from there I will bring them down.
3
Though they hide themselves upon the summit of Karmel, from there I will search and take them. And though they hide from before My eyes at the bottom of the sea, from there I will command the serpent, and it shall bite them.
4
And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall kill them. And I will set My eyes upon them for evil and not for good.”
5
Adonai Yahuah, Elohim of Hosts— He who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell in it mourn, and all of it rises like the Nile and sinks like the river of Mitzrayim.
6
He who builds His upper chambers in the heavens and establishes His vault upon the earth, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them upon the face of the earth— Yahuah is His Name.
7
“Are you not like the sons of Kush to Me, sons of Yisra’el?” declares Yahuah. “Did I not bring Yisra’el up from the land of Mitzrayim, and the Pelishtim from Kaftor, and Aram from Qir?
8
See, the eyes of Adonai Yahuah are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from upon the face of the earth. Yet destroying, I will not utterly destroy the House of Yaaqov,” declares Yahuah.
9
“For see, I command, and I will shake the House of Yisra’el among all the nations, as grain is shaken in a sieve, yet not a pebble shall fall to the ground.
10
By the sword shall all the sinners of My people die, those who say: ‘The evil shall not draw near or come before us.’
11
In that day I will raise up the fallen Sukkah of Daviyd. And I will close up its breaches, and its ruins I will raise up, and I will build it as in the days of old,
12
that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by My Name,” declares Yahuah, who does this.
13
“See, days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes the one who draws out seed. And the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
14
And I will return the captivity of My People Yisra’el. And they shall rebuild the desolated cities and dwell in them. And they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit.
15
And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall never again be uprooted from upon their land that I gave them,” says Yahuah your Elohim.
