1
My son, if you draw near to serve Yahuah, prepare your being for testing.
2
Make your heart upright and remain firm; do not become hasty in a time of calamity.
3
Cling to Him and do not withdraw, so that you may be increased at your latter end.
4
Receive whatever is brought upon you, and be patient through the changes of your humiliation.
5
For gold is tested in fire, and accepted ones in the furnace of humiliation.
6
Trust Him, and He shall take hold of you; make your Ways upright and hope in Him.
7
You who fear Yahuah, wait for His lovingkindness. Do not turn aside, lest you fall.
8
You who fear Yahuah, trust Him, and your reward shall not fail.
9
You who fear Yahuah, hope for good, for enduring gladness and lovingkindness.
10
Look into the ancient generations and see: who trusted in Yahuah and was put to shame? Who remained in His fear and was abandoned? Who called upon Him and was disregarded?
11
For Yahuah is compassionate and merciful; He releases sins and saves in a time of distress.
12
Woe to fearful hearts and weakened hands, and to the sinner walking upon two paths.
13
Woe to the weakened heart, for it does not trust; therefore it shall not be covered.
14
Woe to you who have destroyed patience. What shall you do when Yahuah visits?
15
Those who fear Yahuah do not disobey His Words, and those who love Him guard His Ways.
16
Those who fear Yahuah seek what delights Him, and those who love Him are filled with Torah.
17
Those who fear Yahuah prepare their hearts and humble their beings before His face.
18
Let us fall into the hands of Yahuah, and not into the hands of Adam; for as His greatness is, so also is His mercy.
