1
Yahuah created Adam from the earth and returned him to it again.
2
He gave them numbered days and an appointed time, and gave them authority over the things upon the earth.
3
He clothed them with strength like His own and made them according to His image.
4
He placed the fear of them upon all flesh and gave them rule over beasts and flying creatures.
5
They received the use of the five works of Yahuah; as a sixth He apportioned mind to them, and as a seventh, speech—the interpreter of His works.
6
Counsel and tongue and eyes, ears and a heart for understanding, He gave them.
7
He filled them with the knowledge of understanding and showed them good and evil.
8
He set His eye upon their hearts to show them the greatness of His works.
9
They shall praise His set-apart Name,
10
that they may recount the greatness of His works.
11
He added knowledge to them and gave them the Torah of life as an inheritance.
12
He established an everlasting Covenant with them and showed them His Right-Rulings.
13
Their eyes saw the greatness of splendor, and their ear heard the splendor of His Voice.
14
He said to them, “Guard yourselves from every injustice,” and He commanded each concerning his neighbor.
15
Their Ways are always before Him; they are not hidden from His eyes. 17 Over every nation He appointed a ruler, but Yisra’el is the portion of Yahuah. 19 All their works are like the sun before Him, and His eyes continually rest upon their Ways. 20 Their injustices are not hidden from Him, and all their sins are before Yahuah. 22 The righteous giving of an ish is like a seal with Him, and He preserves the favor of an Adam like the pupil of an eye. 23 Afterward He shall rise and repay them, returning their recompense upon their own heads. 24 Yet to those who turn back He gives a return, and He strengthens those whose endurance is failing. 25 Return to Yahuah and abandon sins; make supplication before His Face and diminish the stumbling-block. 26 Return to El Elyon and turn away from injustice, and greatly hate what is detestable. 27 Who shall praise El Elyon in Sheol in place of the living who render thanksgiving? 28 Thanksgiving perishes from the dead as from one who is not; the living and healthy shall praise Yahuah. 29 How great is the compassion of Yahuah and His forgiveness toward those who return to Him. 30 For all things cannot be within Adam, because a son of Adam is not immortal. 31 What is brighter than the sun? Yet even it is eclipsed; and flesh and blood devise evil. 32 He inspects the host of the height of heaven, but all sons of Adam are earth and ashes.
