1
The One living unto the age created all things together.
2
Yahuah alone shall be declared righteous, and there is no other besides Him.
3
He guides the world within the span of His hand, and all things obey His desire. He is King of all in His might, distinguishing among them what is set-apart from what is profane.
4
He gave no one power to declare all His works; and who shall trace out His greatness?
5
Who shall number the might of His majesty? Who shall add anything in recounting His compassion?
6
Nothing can be diminished or added, and the wonders of Yahuah cannot be traced out.
7
When an Adam finishes, then he begins; and when he ceases, then he is bewildered.
8
What is Adam, and what is his use? What is his good, and what is his evil?
9
The number of the days of Adam—at most—is a hundred years.
10
Like a drop of water from the sea and a grain of sand, so are a few years within a day of the age.
11
Therefore Yahuah is patient with them and pours His compassion upon them.
12
He saw and knew that their end is evil; therefore He multiplied His forgiveness.
13
The compassion of Adam is upon his neighbor, but the compassion of Yahuah is upon all flesh: correcting and instructing and teaching, and turning them back as a shepherd his flock.
14
He shows compassion to those who receive instruction and to those who hasten toward His Right-Rulings.
15
My son, do not attach a blemish to your good deeds, nor grief-producing words to any gift.
16
Does not dew relieve burning heat? So a word is better than a gift.
17
Indeed, is not a word above a good present? Yet both are with an ish of favor.
18
A fool reproaches without favor, and the gift of an envious one wastes the eyes.
19
Learn before you speak, and seek healing before sickness.
20
Examine yourself before Judgment, and in the hour of visitation you shall find forgiveness.
21
Humble yourself before you become sick, and in a time of sins show that you have turned back.
22
Do not be hindered from fulfilling a vow at its appointed time, and do not wait until death to be made right.
23
Before making a vow, prepare yourself, and do not become like an Adam testing Yahuah.
24
Remember wrath in the days of completion, and the appointed time of vengeance when the Face is turned away.
25
Remember the appointed time of famine in a time of fullness, and poverty and need in days of wealth.
26
From morning until evening an appointed time changes, and all things are swift before Yahuah.
27
A wise Adam takes care in everything, and in days of sin guards himself from transgression.
28
Everyone who understands recognizes Wisdom, and gives thanksgiving to the One who found her.
29
Those who understand words also became wise and poured forth precise proverbs.
30
Do not walk behind your desires, and restrain yourself from your appetites.
31
If you grant your being the delight of desire, it shall make you a rejoicing-place for your enemies.
32
Do not rejoice in abundant luxury, and do not bind yourself to its company.
33
Do not become poor by feasting on borrowed silver when there is nothing in your purse.
