1
To the Overseer. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Yahuah, in Your strength the king rejoices, and in Your Salvation how greatly he exults!
3
You have given him the desire of his heart, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
4
For You meet him with blessings of goodness; You set a crown of refined gold upon his head.
5
He asked Life from You; You gave it to him— length of days forever and ever.
6
His glory is great through Your Salvation; splendor and majesty You place upon him.
7
For You set him as blessings forever; You gladden him with joy before Your face.
8
For the king trusts in Yahuah, and through the covenant-love of Elyon he is not moved.
9
Your hand finds all Your enemies; Your right hand finds those who hate You.
10
You set them as a furnace of fire at the time of Your face. Yahuah swallows them in His anger, and fire consumes them.
11
You destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from among the sons of Adam.
12
Though they stretched evil against You and devised a scheme, they are unable to prevail.
13
For You make them turn their shoulder; with Your bowstrings You aim at their faces.
14
Be exalted, Yahuah, in Your strength. We sing and make melody to Your might.
