1
A melody. A song for the dedication of the House. Of Daviyd.
2
I exalt You, Yahuah, for You drew me up and did not let my enemies rejoice over me.
3
Yahuah my Elohim, I cried to You, and You healed me.
4
Yahuah, You brought my being up from Sheol; You kept me alive from those descending to the pit.
5
Make melody to Yahuah, His faithful ones, and give thanks at the remembrance of His Set-Apartness.
6
For His anger is but a moment; Life is in His favor. Weeping lodges for an evening, but at morning comes a joyful shout.
7
As for me, in my security I said, “I shall never be moved.”
8
Yahuah, in Your favor You made strength stand for my mountain. You hid Your face; I became disturbed.
9
To You, Yahuah, I call, and to Adonai I seek favor:
10
“What gain is in my blood, in my descent to the pit? Does dust thank You? Does it declare Your Truth?
11
Hear, Yahuah, and show favor to me. Yahuah, be my Helper.”
12
You turned my mourning into dancing for me; You loosened my sackcloth and girded me with joy,
13
so that my glory makes melody to You and is not silent. Yahuah my Elohim, I thank You forever.
