1
To the Overseer, upon Yonat Elem Rechoqiym. A Miktam of Daviyd, when the Pelishtim seized him in Gat.
2
Show favor to me, Elohim, for enosh pants after me; all day a fighter oppresses me.
3
Those watching me pant after me all day, for many fight against me, Elyon.
4
In the day I fear, I trust in You.
5
In Elohim I praise His Word; in Elohim I trust and do not fear. What can flesh do to me?
6
All day they twist my words; all their designs against me are for evil.
7
They gather; they hide; they watch my heels, as they have waited for my being.
8
Because of crookedness, let there be no escape for them; in anger bring peoples down, Elohim.
9
You have counted my wandering. Place my tears in Your skin-bottle. Are they not in Your Sefer?
10
Then my enemies turn backward in the day I call. This I know: Elohim is for me.
11
In Elohim I praise the Word; in Yahuah I praise the Word.
12
In Elohim I trust and do not fear. What can Adam do to me?
13
Your vows are upon me, Elohim; I complete thank offerings to You.
14
For You delivered my being from death— have You not kept my feet from stumbling?— to walk before the face of Elohim in the Light of Life.
