1
To the Overseer, according to Yedutun. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Only toward Elohim is my being silent; from Him is my Salvation.
3
He alone is my Rock and my Salvation, my high refuge; I am not greatly moved.
4
Until when do you attack an ish? All of you would murder him, like a leaning wall, a fence being pushed down.
5
They counsel only to thrust him from his height; they delight in falsehood. With their mouth they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah.
6
Only toward Elohim be silent, my being, for from Him is my expectation.
7
He alone is my Rock and my Salvation, my high refuge; I am not moved.
8
Upon Elohim rest my Salvation and my glory; the Rock of my strength, my refuge, is in Elohim.
9
Trust in Him at every time, people; pour out your heart before His face. Elohim is a refuge for us. Selah.
10
Surely sons of Adam are vapor, sons of ish are falsehood. In balances they rise; together they are lighter than vapor.
11
Do not trust in oppression or become empty through robbery. If wealth increases, do not set your heart upon it.
12
Once Elohim has spoken; twice I have heard this: strength belongs to Elohim,
13
and to You, Adonai, belongs covenant-love; for You repay each ish according to his work.
