1
He who dwells in the concealment of Elyon lodges in the shadow of Shaddai.
2
I say to Yahuah, “My refuge and my stronghold, my Elohim in whom I trust.”
3
For He delivers you from the snare of the fowler, from destructive pestilence.
4
With His pinion He covers you, and beneath His wings you seek refuge. His Truth is shield and buckler.
5
You do not fear terror of night, arrow flying by day,
6
pestilence walking in darkness, or destruction devastating at noon.
7
A thousand fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand; it does not approach you.
8
Only with your eyes you look and see the reward of the wicked.
9
Because you have set Yahuah—my refuge— Elyon as your dwelling,
10
no evil meets you, and no plague draws near your tent.
11
For He commands His messengers concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.
12
Upon their palms they lift you, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13
You tread upon lion and cobra; you trample young lion and serpent.
14
“Because he clings to Me, I deliver him; I set him securely on high, because he knows My Name.
15
He calls Me and I answer him. I am with him in distress; I rescue him and honor him.
16
With length of days I satisfy him and show him My Salvation.”
