1
Praise Yah! Thank Yahuah, for He is good, for His covenant-love is forever.
2
Who can speak the mighty deeds of Yahuah or make all His praise heard?
3
Blessed are those guarding Judgment, the one working Righteousness at every time.
4
Remember me, Yahuah, in favor toward Your people; attend to me with Your Salvation,
5
so I may see the good of Your chosen ones, rejoice in the joy of Your nation, and boast with Your Inheritance.
6
We have sinned with our fathers; we have acted crookedly; we have done wickedness.
7
Our fathers in Mitzrayim did not act wisely concerning Your wonders; they did not remember the multitude of Your covenant-love, but rebelled at the sea, at the Sea of Reeds.
8
Yet He saved them for the sake of His Name, to make His might known.
9
He rebuked the Sea of Reeds, and it dried; He led them through deeps like wilderness.
10
He saved them from the hand of one hating and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11
Waters covered their adversaries; not one of them remained.
12
Then they believed His Words; they sang His praise.
13
They quickly forgot His deeds; they did not wait for His counsel.
14
They desired a desire in the wilderness and tested El in the desolate land.
15
He gave them their request but sent wasting into their being.
16
They envied Mosheh in the camp, and Aharon, set-apart one of Yahuah.
17
The earth opened and swallowed Datan and covered the congregation of Aviram.
18
Fire burned in their congregation; flame burned the wicked.
19
They made a calf at Chorev and bowed to a cast image.
20
They exchanged their Glory for the pattern of an ox eating grass.
21
They forgot El their Savior, who did great things in Mitzrayim,
22
wonders in the land of Cham, fearsome things at the Sea of Reeds.
23
He said to destroy them, had not Mosheh His chosen stood in the breach before His face to turn His wrath from destroying.
24
They despised the desirable land; they did not believe His Word.
25
They murmured in their tents; they did not listen to the voice of Yahuah.
26
So He lifted His hand against them, to make them fall in the wilderness,
27
to make their seed fall among nations and scatter them in lands.
28
They joined themselves to Ba’al Pe’or and ate slaughterings of the dead.
29
They provoked Him by their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
30
Then Pinechas stood and executed Judgment, and the plague was restrained.
31
It was reckoned to him as Righteousness from generation to generation forever.
32
They provoked wrath at the waters of Merivah, and it went evil for Mosheh because of them.
33
For they embittered his ruach, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
34
They did not destroy the peoples whom Yahuah told them,
35
but mingled with nations and learned their deeds.
36
They served their idols, and they became a snare to them.
37
They slaughtered their sons and their daughters to destructive spirits.
38
They poured innocent blood— blood of their sons and daughters whom they slaughtered to idols of Kena’an— and the land was profaned by blood.
39
They became unclean by their deeds and prostituted themselves in their practices.
40
The anger of Yahuah burned against His people, and He abhorred His Inheritance.
41
He gave them into the hand of nations, and those hating them ruled over them.
42
Their enemies oppressed them, and they were subdued beneath their hand.
43
Many times He delivered them, but they rebelled in their counsel and sank in their crookedness.
44
Yet He saw their distress when He heard their cry.
45
He remembered for them His Covenant and relented according to the abundance of His covenant-love.
46
He gave them compassions before all taking them captive.
47
Save us, Yahuah our Elohim, and gather us from nations, to thank Your set-apart Name, to boast in Your praise.
48
Blessed is Yahuah Elohim of Yisra’el from eternity to eternity. Let all the people say, “Amein!” Praise Yah!
