1
A melody of Daviyd. Yahuah, I call You; hurry to me. Give ear to my voice when I call You.
2
Let my prayer be established as incense before Your face, the lifting of my palms as the evening grain offering.
3
Set a guard, Yahuah, over my mouth; watch the door of my lips.
4
Do not incline my heart to an evil matter, to practice practices in wickedness with men working crookedness; let me not eat from their delicacies.
5
Let the righteous strike me—covenant-love; let him correct me—oil for the head; let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against their evil.
6
Their judges are thrown down by sides of a rock, and they hear my words, for they are pleasant.
7
As one plows and splits the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
8
For my eyes are toward You, Yahuah Adonai; in You I seek refuge. Do not pour out my being.
9
Guard me from the hands of the snare they laid for me, from traps of workers of crookedness.
10
Let wicked ones fall into their own nets together, while I pass over.
